Hell's Nursery~Part 6.5~ Fiooo!

    "Oo wan' ee?" He murmurs in disbelief.

    "Of course I want you to go." You tell him, picking him up from the bed. "Wouldn't be the same without you." He blushes lightly before hiding his face in your shoulder. Zoro raises an eyebrow and smirks slightly at that.

    "Alright, let's go eat." He nods to Law who opens a portal with his tail. You look at the portal for a few seconds and then over at Law questioningly.

    "Am I supposed to just...walk through that? Like a door?"

    "Yeah, it leads to an alley next to the restaurant, hurry up before a human sees." He smirks as Ace and Luffy start to babble excitedly.  You look at the portal again before closing your eyes and stepping through it. Opening your eyes a few seconds later, you are pleasantly surprised to find yourself in an alleyway next to a well known, but small Italian restaurant. Kid looks around, hugging your neck quietly.

    "'Ere?" He asks you curiously, raising his little eyebrows again. "Wee eet 'ere?"

    "I think so. I did want Italian." You hum, turning to look for the other demons. "Do you not like Italian?"

    "I no kno'," He shrugs.

    "The unawakened don't get many kinds of food." Law points out. "I have yet to try Italian as well." He says.

    "I haven't had much American food either." Zoro pipes up. Frowning a bit, you look back at the restaurant.

     "That's kind of sad. Food is great. I'm going to have to cook more of a variety for you guys."

    "Don't push yourself ___." Law pats your rear with his tail before retracting it again. Zoro and Killer karate chop the raven haired demon in the head at that.

    "Let's go!" Kid pats your shoulder, seeming excited, corners of his lips trying to tug into a genuine smile

    "I'll try not to." You chuckle, starting around the side of the building to the door. A thought comes to mind and you stop a few feet from the door, eyeing the demons curiously. "So, to everyone else, do you all have tails and what not? Because I am pretty sure that would cause some alarm in the human population." The toddlers all look at each other before drawing in their extremities before giving you smiles. "I guess that answers my question." You smile, pushing the door to the restaurant open. Walking to the hostess, you give her a small smile. "Table for seven please." She looks at you with a raised eyebrow, her eyes scanning over the four small children before falling on the two men behind you. She blushes lightly, grabbing a handful of menus and silverware.

    "Uh...right this way." She mumbles, ducking her head and leading you to a large table in the corner of the room. She sets down the menus, lingering a little longer than necessary by Law. "Gimme a call if you need anything."

    "Alright," Law hums.

    "Can we get some seats for them please?" Zoro asks her, gesturing to the little demons.

    "Bleh," Luffy licks Law's cheek making the demon scowl. "You will be fed soon glutton, keep your tongue in your mouth," He grumbles.

    "O-oh yes. R-right away!" The hostess says quickly, nearly sprinting to where they kept booster seats. You chuckle at the girl's obvious infatuation with the two older men.

    "This should be interesting." Zoro gives you a confused look while Law rolls his eyes.

    "You're so odd ___..." He huffs.

    "I have no idea what's going on...." Zoro sweatdrops. You laugh shaking your head.

    "I am odd. But that's what makes me interesting." The hostess comes back, followed by what you assumed to be your waitress, each carrying two booster chairs. Once they set them down, you set Kid down in the one next to you. "Thank you." You tell the two women. They both look at you, and then back to Law and Zoro, seemingly confused about the relationship between you, the two men, and the four children at the table.

    "You're welcome." They both say. The hostess stands there for a few seconds, before ducking her head and heading back to the door.

    "Can I get you anything to drink?"

    "Hmm Italian Soda for me." You hum, looking at the others around the table. "You guys know what you want?" Law looks at the menus, along with Zoro for a moment. Pink dusts Law's cheeks and he leans toward you.

    "I don't know what any of this is..."

    "What are we supposed to be doing?" Zoro whispers to you too.

    "Hi!" Ace waves at the waitress with a cute smile.

    "'Oob!" Luffy bursts. "Oob?" He looks between you and the waitress. Killer points at something on the menu, looking up at the waitress with a blank face. Kid growls at the older males. The waitress looks a little confused. You laugh lightly, flipping the menu over to show the drink section.

    "So you two would probably like a beer." You say, pointing to one that sounded good. "Can they each get one of these? And the little ones...you have juice?" The waitress nods, writing it all down.

    "I will give you some time to look over the menus so you can figure out what you want to eat. I'll be back in a few minutes with your drinks." Law moves closer to you, peering at you thoughtfully.

    "What should we get to eat?" He inquires.

    "Hey, not so close, she won't let me cuddle her because of you." Zoro huffs in annoyance.

    "You don't need to cuddle her. She was mine first." Law scoffs, hugging your head to his chest and tossing the other a glare. Kid scowls, stabbing Law's arm with a fork and making the demon release you.

    "___ iz ___'s!" The redhead snaps, "No oo or oo." He points his fork at them. You laugh at the three of them.

    "You guys are funny." Leaning over a little, you look at the menu and point to a few things that you happened to like. "Any of these are good. I think you guys would like them." Law hums looking over the menu and nodding.

    "Alright. .. I guess Breadsticks and pasta for the little ones then?"

    "I know what I want now..." Zoro mutters.

    "Fioo!" Ace chimes, lighting a napkin on fire, but Zoro calmly puts it out without even looking up.

    "No fire in public, you mini maniac." Zoro breathes while Luffy starts to adorably sing.

    "Oob~ Oob~ oooob~ Ob! ~ Oob~" Killer just keeps pointing at what he wanted on the menu. You smile, watching them all happily.

    "That sounds good for them. I'm sure they'll all like that." You lean forward, looking at what Killer was pointing at. "What do you want love?" You ask, trying to see what he was pointing at. His small finger rested on a picture of mozzarella sticks. "Oh yeah! We can get some of those for everyone too." Killer smiles at you softly in response and Luffy starts to sing louder.

    "Hey, you're being too Loud." Law sighs Kid yawns slightly, rubbing his cheeks in his boredom, starting to whine. Reaching over, you pat Luffy on the head.

     "That was some lovely singing." The waitress comes back with your drinks setting them in front of everyone.

    "You guys ready to order?"

    "Oh uh. We will have an order of the Mozzarella sticks. And I want the fettuccini alfredo please." You look at the kids. "And we are gunna get them all pasta and breadsticks." The waitress nods writing down the order before looking over at Zoro.

    "And what would you like?"

    "This." He points out to the waitress, Law does the same. Luffy leans over and licks the waitress's arm.

     "Don't lick people Luffy." Law frowns at him. "Nom nom nom!" The little demon babbles. Law sighs before smirking. "___, can you please tell our son to behave?" He hums. Zoro sends him a scowl. You blink, but smile nodding.

     "Oh. Yeah." You reach over handing Luffy a breadstick that the waitress had brought with your drinks. "Here Lu. Why don't you try licking this instead of the nice ladies arm."

    "Oh it's okay." The waitress smiles. "I have had much worse. You have a lovely family." Luffy takes it, eating it swiftly, humming happily.

    "Thank you, we worked hard on them." Law smiles, snaking an arm around you.

    "What's that?" Zoro gasps with a point, making the waitress look away as he touches Law's arm and makes the other demon disappear. Kid gives the greenette a thumb up at that. You look over in slight shock.

    "Where did you send him?" You whisper to Zoro. The waitress turns back to the table, looking at the spot where Law had been in confusion.

    "Oh uh, he, needed to use the bathroom." The waitress furrows her eyebrows, but nods.

    "Okay, well I will go put your order in. Your food should be out in just a bit."

    "To the ocean. He was getting on my nerves." Zoro responds bluntly once the waitress is gone. "He'll be back, don't worry."

    "Zoro!" Luffy cheers.

    "Here buddy, have another." Zoro hums, giving him another breadstick.

    "If you say so..." You say, grabbing a breadstick and breaking it in half, handing part of it to Kid. "Here love, wanna try one?" He blinks at the word 'love' and blushes before taking it quietly and starting to eat.

    "Heh, he's being more behaved than Ace." Zoro comments impressed by Kid’s behavior. You smile, ruffling Kids hair.

    "He is a sweetheart." You hum, taking a bite of the other breadstick with a smile. You grab another handing it to Killer. "Here. You should try one too." Killer takes it, starting to eat quietly.

    "You alright Killer? You're being really quiet." Zoro frowns in concern.

    "Sleepy." The little blond responds.

    "I'm sure we will get our food soon. Then we can go home so you can get some sleep." You say, giving the blonde a small smile. The waitress comes back over, setting down a plate of Mozzarella sticks on the table. She looks at the seat where Law had been with a small frown.

    "Is he okay. He has been gone for a while."

    "Oh yeah he came back a little while ago, but...then he had to take a phone call outside." The waitress nods.

    "Well if you need anything, be sure to let me know." Killer grabs a mozzarella stick, eating it with a small smile. Law soon returns, soaked and looking highly annoyed.

    "You'll get what's coming to you Zoro." He hisses. Kid cackles at him in amusement, earning a glare. You giggle lightly.

    "Oh wow. When he said ocean, I thought he meant like...on the shore." The hostess from before runs over, looking over Law.

    "Are you okay Sir? Did something happen?" she asks, putting a hand on his arm over his now very clingy shirt. You look at Law curiously, wondering what he'd tell her had happened. Now that he had come back dripping wet, none of the excuses you could come up with made sense.

    "They were transporting water and hit a bump near me..." He deadpans. "I've just been minorly inconvenienced. Do not worry about me." He pats her head. "Don't mess with me." Zoro smirks. The waitress blushes darkly, nodding and running back to her station. You chuckle, grabbing a few of the napkins from the table to hand them to Law.

    "Here, I don't know if this will help any. It may dry you off a little at least."

    "I'll be fine." He sighs slightly, sitting across from you.

    "Sorry... but you did cross a line." Zoro hums.

    "I was trying to make us seem less odd.” You frown a little, setting the napkins back on the table and grabbing a Mozzarella stick munching on it.

    "Don't fight you two." You say after a few minutes. They look at you confused.

    "We're not fighting. If we were, this place would be leveled." Law points out.

    "And there would be some casualties." Zoro shrugs. You blink.

    "Right. I guess that's true huh?" The waitress comes back with food for everyone, setting it down on the table.

    "Hope everything tastes alright." She says, glancing at everyone before ducking away quickly. You smile at your plate grabbing your fork and taking a bite before looking at everyone.

    "Come on guys, dig in!" They do so with smiles, Luffy’s plate is cleaned off in an instant, leaving his face covered in sauce.

    "This is good." Zoro rumbles thoughtfully as he gives Luffy more breadsticks.

    "Mm." Law hums.

    "I'm glad you guys like it." You hum taking another bite of your food, looking at the other three small demons. "What about you guys? Do you like it?" Kid was covered with with sauce, looking innocently at you.

    "Mhm." He squeaks.

    "Fioo!"Ace catches his on fire before gobbling it up cheerfully.

    "It okay..." Killer was focused on the mozzarella sticks. You giggle lightly at all of them.

    "Glad you guys enjoy it." The waitress comes back to refill drinks and take empty plates.

    "Would anyone like dessert?" You nod pointing to a picture of chocolate cake on the dessert menu in the middle of the table.

    "I want one of these. I'm sure the little ones want some too. So maybe three of those and...do you guys want something?" You ask, looking up at Zoro and Law.

    "Whatever you want sounds great to me." Zoro smiles at you.

    "I'll have the ice cream." Law decides, tossing the waitress a smile.

    "Yaaay!" Luffy cheers. The waitress blushes a little, smiling and writing down the order.

    "I'll be right back with that." She says quickly, disappearing back to the kitchen.

    "This has been nice." You hum, looking around the restaurant. "Change of pace. Thank you you two."

    "No problem, we do owe you." Law muses before kissing your cheek softly.

    "Yeah, we'll treat you to whatever you want." Zoro agrees, patting your cheek.

    "You guys are so sweet to me." You hum. The waitress returns setting down dessert and taking the rest of the plates from dinner.

    "I'll bring the check by in just a moment." She says leaving again. You bite into your cake smiling happily.

    "Sooo gooooood." Luffy squeals in sheer delight as he eats happily. "Yum! Yum! Yum ___!" He cheers

    "Ummm!" Ace cheers too. Kid hums with a big smile, eating it up. Killer digs in with a small smile. You look at them with a small smile, enjoying their excitement. Finishing your cake, you push your plate away from you.

    "I'm so full." You huff. The waitress comes back with the check, setting it in the table.

    "I'll be your cashier when you're ready." She smiles.

    "Okay thank you miss." Law hums, taking it and looking it over. "Alright, that's pretty cheap." He hums, taking out a credit card for it.

    "Everyone almost done?" Zoro wipes off Luffy’s face, peering around at the others. You look at Kid and Killer, wiping off Kids face with a napkin.

    "I think we are all done." The waitress runs off with the card, returning a few minutes later with the reciept, her number, as well as the hostess' written on the top.

    "Thank you guys for coming!" She smiles before going to help other tables. You give a small yawn, standing from the table to help Kid and Killer from their seats.

    "Time to go home?" Zoro and Law nod as Zoro picks up Luffy and Law takes up Ace.

    "Let's go." Law rumbles leading the way out and back into the alleyway. "Fioo." He breathes to Ace, giving him the receipt.

    "Fwoosh!" Ace chimes, holding it up and with a flash of fire the receipt was gone. You chuckle, picking up Kid and holding out a hand for Killer to take.

    "Awww they'll be so sad that you didn't call them."

    "Why would I do that?" Law asks in confusion. Kid yawns, cuddling your neck while Killer takes your hand.

     "To be fair, they dodged a bullet." Zoro hums.

    "What the hell does that mean garden head?" Law scowls at him. You shake your head at the two of them before shrugging.

    "They were both sort of pretty. And very interested in the both of you." They exchange a look.

    "Best not to give hope where there is none." Law comments before opening a portal. "Let's go home."

    "Ladies first." Zoro smiles at you thoughtfully.

    "Thank you." You hum, stepping through the portal into your living room. "Home sweet home." Setting Kid down on the couch, you look around. "I wonder if you will be staying here tonight?" Kid looks up at you, smiling lightly.

    "'Ank oo." He breathes sweetly. Law and Zoro step through with the others.

    "Alright, I'll give them baths, but you gotta bathe Kid." Zoro decides, going to the bathroom to start the water.

    "I guess... We're gonna need some clothes for them..." Law frowns.

    "Hmm maybe...can you get something for them? Or maybe they can fit into something of yours from when you were small?" You say, sitting down on the couch.

    "Maybe for Ace and Luffy but..." He and Kid look at each other. "He's not going to wear what was mine, so I'll go find him something." He pecks your cheek before disappearing. Kid looks back up at you.

    "Wha now?"

    "How about we watch something on TV until they are done. Then we can get you washed up and in bed." You say, picking up a remote and flipping through channels until you come to something you found interesting. He looks at the screen, scooting closer to you.

    "Oo 'ike?" He peers at you curiously. You nod, eyes transfixed on the TV that was showing a documentary on how to disarm different sorts of alarm systems.

    "It's been awhile since I've watched an actual TV show. This one just so happens to be detailing...what I used to do for a living I guess?" Kid blinks, looking at you then the tv.

    "... 'ief?" He pats your leg, "'ief?" He tilts his head.

    "Oh yeah." You nod, looking over at him. "I was a thief. Probably not the best decision I ever made to be honest. But the money was good."

    "Why 'ere?" He asks you, turning to you curiously.

    "I um.." You chuckle looking at the ceiling, rubbing the back of your neck. "I messed up. Jumped the gun and opened a safe without checking it for traps. Got shot in the chest. I would have bled out and died had Shanks not come to make that deal with me. In order to save my life, I was asked to come here and take care of you guys." You smile a little, looking down to ruffle his hair. "And that's why I am here." He nods quietly.

    "Oo 'iss home?" He asks with a head tilt, little fingertips exploring your hand softly. Humming in thought, you shake your head slightly.

    "No. Not exactly. I had a dumpy little apartment that probably could have fit inside the bedroom here. No friends. No family that I know of. There isn't really much to miss if you ask me." He nods, looking at your hands.

    "Oo... 'iss me?" He peers back up at you carefully. Furrowing your eyebrows you look at the boy.

    "I would. If I ever had to leave. I'd miss you. All of you really. You've all grown on me quite a bit since I got here. But I don't plan on leaving if I don't have to. Like I said, there is nothing for me back there and I genuinely care for all of you guys." He blinks at you and smiles softly, kissing the back of your hand.

    "Alright, I'm done giving them baths." Zoro informs you as a naked Ace and Luffy dashes through the room, giggling cheerfully. Killer is bundled up in a towel in Zoro's arm. "This is hard..." Zoro sighs. Tilting your head to look at him, you chuckle.

    "I bet. Law said Ace and Luffy can wear something of his. He went to go grab something for this one to wear." You say, picking Kid up off the couch. "I'll go give him a bath." You walk over, leaning down to kiss Killer on the cheek. "You get some sleep hon. I know you were tired earlier." Killer blushes lightly and kisses your cheek in return.

    "Night night." He murmurs sleepily.

    "I'll get these two dressed and in bed after Killer. Good luck." Zoro says before moving to keep Ace from catching your curtains on fire.

    "Thank you Zoro." You smile, going into the bathroom and turning on the hot water to fill up the tub. It was much cleaner in the bathroom than you expected, making you smile thoughtfully. "Okay, lets see. Go ahead and get undressed, I'll grab a towel and some soap for you." He nods doing so and managing to pull himself into the tub. He looks around curiously.

    "Wha... wha a bash?" He mumbles to himself. You turn back to him, finding him in the tub.

    "Have you never had a bath?" You ask in confusion, walking over to sit on the edge of the tub. You set the soap down and grab a small cup to get his hair wet. "How do they normally get you clean then?" He shifts before holding out his arms like he was holding something round.

    "PSSHHHHH!" He mimics. Frowning, you try to figure out what he meant.

    "A hose?" You ask him, frowning at the idea of spraying down a toddler with a hose in order to clean them. He nods, looking around again and patting the water.

    "Wha dat?" He points at the little bit of bubbles that remained from the last bath.

    "Soap bubbles. Here look." You pour a little soap in your hand, making it bubble up in your hand before blowing on the bubble to let them float in front of his face. "You haven't seen soap either?" You question, using the soap in your hands to start to wash his hair. He jumps slightly at the bubbles before poking at them and giving a quiet giggle.

    "Buboos..." He breathes, poking more. You giggle at him, using the same cup to rinse his hair out and wash him off.

    "Bubbles are fun aren't they?" You smile, pulling the plug on the bath and grabbing a towel to dry him off. "Wonder if Law's gotten clothes for you yet?”

    "Yeah, I got them." Law says in the doorway, holding up a demon onesie for Kid. "I think this is suiting. Kid peers over the tub wall, eyes narrowing slightly. You grab the onsie from him, eyeing it and then Kid.

    "I think it'll look cute." You say, picking Kid up and drying him off. "Thank you for getting him something Law." You hum, slipping the onsie onto Kid and smiling. "Yep. Super cute." Kid chuckles softly, hiding his face as pink dusts it.

    "Sure... You two sure get along well." Law frowns lightly, slightly jealous.

    "I get along well with all of you I think." You hum, turning to Law. "I mean I think we get along well too." You pout a little. "Unless you think differently." He shifts.

    "I-I think so." He says quickly. "I guess I miss..." He stops and looks to the side. Kid peers at him with a slight frown. Frowning lightly, you set Kid on the floor. "Miss what?" You ask, furrowing your eyebrows.

    "... I guess being small had its perks..." He grumbles quietly. Kid blinks at that and looks down at himself. You tilt your head a little before stepping forward and hugging him.

    "Perks hmm? Sure, you were cute when you were little. Also, a bit of a pain." You hum with a small smile. "But it's good to be grown too. You're such a handsome guy." He pauses and chuckles, hugging you back and resting his chin on your shoulder.

    "Let's put him to bed yea? Then I have to get to work." He pulls back, tipping your chin, thumb gliding over your bottom lip softly. Nodding slightly, you smile, pulling away slightly.

     "That sounds good. I should probably get some sleep too. It's been a long day." You hum, turning and picking Kid up. "Let's get you to bed cutie."

    "Can I 'eep 'ith oo?" He asks you quietly, tilting his head. You frown a little, looking at him.

    "That wouldn't be fair to the others though would it? You don't want your own bed to roll around in?" He pouts at you.

    "... Pwease?" He sticks out his bottom lip.

    "Actually Kid, you can't, there won't be much room since Zoro will be sleeping in her bed too." Law smirks. You blink, looking at Law for a few seconds in confusion and then back to Kid.

    "Yeah. He uh, he'll need more room so he can't use one of the small beds. Maybe next time though hun." Kid drops his head and tail at that.

    "Hello?" Mihawk's voice rings out in the main room. Law blinks in surprise before leading the way out. You pick up Kid following after Law into the living room, a little surprised to find Mihawk standing in the entryway.

    "Good evening. Is everything okay?" You ask, frowning slightly.

    "Yes. I've come to collect..." He trails off, eyes falling on Kid who grabs your shirt tightly. "Unexpected..." He mutters. Rubbing Kid's back comfortingly, you tilt your head at Mihawk.

    "Collect who? They're all asleep. Well except for Kid, I just finished with his bath. They can stay here for the night, we shouldn't wake them up." He nods.

    "Very well, I will leave them in your care. But Zoro must come with me. He has training." He states, golden eyes looking past you before Zoro steps beside you, touching your back. "Say your farewells. You will not return here for three days." He states to the greenette.

    "... Yessir." Zoro hums before kissing your cheek. You frown a little, turning to him and leaning your head on his shoulder.

    "Be safe okay. Come back in one piece."

    "Heh... Don't worry about me beautiful. Just uh... Don't let Ace burn the place down while I'm gone." He touches your cheek softly.

    "I'll try not to." You smile, turning you head to kiss his hand. "Better get going. I'm gonna get this one to bed and then go to bed myself."

    "Alright, let's go." He shares a nod with Law before following Mihawk out. Kid looks at you, slightly hopeful.

    "'eep wi' oo?"

    "Well, I guess I don't have much of an argument against you now do I?" You hum. "I don't mind. I'm sure I'll end up with a few more of the small ones curled up with me by morning

    "Yeah... Goodnight." He moves to kiss your lips but Kid covers your mouth. Law huffs before settling with kissing your other cheek. You chuckle, pulling Kid's hand down a bit.

    "Goodnight. Have a nice night at work Law." You tell him, before starting towards your bedroom with Kid. Kid hums slightly, mushing your face and starts to giggle quietly.

    "Oo 'ute ___." He hums thoughtfully Humming slightly, you set him down on the bed.

    "Oh you think so?" You ask, starting to grab clothes so you could shower before leaning down to kiss his cheek. "That's sweet of you. Can you stay here for me while I shower?" He nods and moves under the covers slightly, with a yawn and small smile You go into the bathroom, taking a quick shower, before returning to the bedroom, dressed for bed. You get under the covers next to Kid, turning off the lights. "Goodnight Kid. Sleep well."
